BLACK LEOPARDS ENTERS THE LAST-16

Black Leopards coached Dylan Kerr, who has been defeated twice out of seventeen matches since his first match on the 1st of December 2018 has proceeded to the last-16 of the Nedbank cup.

The match was played at Thohoyandou stadium where tickets were sold out on the 25th of January 2019 the day before the match.The first goal was scored by Orlando Pirates’s Justin Shonga during the 32nd minute after a foul done by a Leopards player which lead to a free-kick.

An equalizer came after 7 minutes from the first goal from Leopards forward Mwape Musonda.In the 2nd half Orlando Pirates continued to apply pressure to Leopards but Leopards goalkeeper King Ndlovu blocked all the balls.The score remained 1-1 until the 90th minute.

The game proceeded to extra-time where there was no goal. After extra-time the only left option was penalty shoot-outs where the first kick was from Mwape Musonda who diid not score,Leopards’s hope came after a miss done by Orlando Pirates’s Mahachi. The final score was 5-4.
